The Devonport RSL has continued to develop further the support that is being provided to Veterans and their families. The kindness Cupcakes, Isolation Roasts meals and the Easter Bunny delivery are all initiatives that have continued into 2021. They provided not only direct support but also enable the Devonport RSL to check in on people in the community. Just like in 2020 the members have proactivity referred people to the Welfare program and we would like to thank everyone for the efforts. The community Christmas was a positive day for many even with the social distancing requirements and we have been lucky enough to receive grant funding for a wheel chairs and walkers, garden maintenance tools and home visits.
